I am working on doing new things, don't always have the camera ready but I am working on new stuff, some of my "new things" haven't been all pleasant... Like Mr. Sick Bucket... We just had a rash of the flu sweep through the house... I am
blessed grateful I have fairly hearty kids and they don't get sick often, so this past week and into the weekend we had our first experience with Mr. Sick Bucket... Hopefully it will be a LONG time before we meet him again...
I've been working on slowing down and spending more play time with my boys... I'm trying to do this by having something special/planned to do with each while the other is napping as well as time together in the afternoon. I have been trying to give the boys my whole afternoon... Whether its as simple was a walk or playing knock down the castle for an hour... I feel closer to them and I feel like I have a better bond with them, that I'm more fun like Daddy is...
We went and got the boys an art easel and I've been coloring and painting with them, we mostly doodle but we have been playing with drawing our letters too, D loves the letters Q and K...

I haven't really done any new Kid Awesome foods, since at the moment D will
only eat Pizza, Cheerios, Cheesy Poofs and Popcorn... So I've been desperately trying to stuff him with anything since he's barely eating anything even if it's one of his toddler food groups... I did however make some bread for the first time in the new house... I was really proud of how it turned out but the recipe was meh.. Now that I've got the kneading down I'm ready to start baking again... More on that later...
